Jeremiah Kipp Slant Magazine While it's refreshing to see a war film veer into the supernatural so quietly, R-Point lacks the much-needed dramatic tension to get us through its slow-moving 110 minutes. Rated: 1.5/4 Feb 13, 2006 Full Review Derek Elley Variety A fresh spin on the Korean horror genre after a summer which saw the usual haunted-schoolgirl template reach burnout. Jan 13, 2006 Full Review Jamie Woolley BBC.com By the time the grand finale rolls around, you're more baffled than terrified. Rated: 3/5 Sep 18, 2005 Full Review Anton Bitel Eye for Film serves as a thoroughgoing allegory of the fears, suicides, inhumanity, rage and murder doomed to repeat themselves in any and every conflict, and to haunt generations to come. Aug 6, 2007 Full Review Don Willmott Filmcritic.com the style doesn't compensate for a lack of substance Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 3, 2006 Full Review Michael W. Phillips, Jr. Goatdog's Movies One of the best of a sub-genre I'm going to christen 'warror': war horror films. Rated: 3.5/5 Jun 26, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews

Sameir A The film is definitely a very good horror experience with a lot of mystery and suspense elements. A major issue for the Non-Korean viewers is that, it is difficult to differentiate the characters in the beginning with same face and the names you cannot understand. Only in the end, you become familiar with the characters, that demands a second watch. Unsolved mysteries can be excused as the creator's cinematic freedom, but here, the audience should explain themselves each and everything, not everyone can digest it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/05/21 Full Review Audience Member I watch a lot of horror movies. All of them. This is in its genre one of the best horror-military movies ever. Hands down. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It was ok/not good. It had a good but unoriginal concept that wasn't executed as well as it could've been. It tries to scare via the atmosphere/suspense and via some scares, but imo it fails at both. Its not thaaat bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. Korean cinema has so many better options. The main problem is that it's fairly predictable and you know how its going to end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was one of the first films I recall watching back during the Asian horror boom of he early 2000s, and I was happy to give it another look recently. This is a really creepy ghost story, with a platoon of Korean soldiers looking for a missing patrol unit, only to find themselves very much out of their element. Well worth a look, give it a rental. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member This is and absolutely fantastic film didn't see it until 12 months ago and was blown away by the action and suspense that this film makes, it grips the audience with an ever twisting plot into the human psyche. well directed and well produced film. best i've seen in a while. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Ottima atmosfera, però si vede che è stato scritto in fretta e poteva essere migliore. Guardarlo con i commenti del regista sembra dare una visione più accurata del film (e di quel che poteva essere) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
