Mark Bell Film Threat This is a smart thriller, and while we've seen many of these elements before, it's done so well that it's refreshing to see something so accomplished attempt such a classic style. Apr 21, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

This was clearly a low budget horror that had very little going for it other than elements of confusion and severe weirdness. Centred around a mystery biker who after having a minor fracas with an adulterous husband in a car park, is hell bent on stalking the cheater until his death. It all starts very casually with a few muttered words from our 'hero', with nothing but head movements from our resident leathered up psychopath in return, as his identity remains a secret throughout. This soon turns into keying each other's vehicles followed by more physical fusty cuffs. When it develops onto urinating, raping, and general chainsaw massacre then you know this film has attempted to entertain through sheer shock factor but the lack of realism and atmosphere gives it no credibility whatsoever. The fact that it's performed in relative silence makes it mainly dull in parts which is why my eyes became tempted with sleep on several occasions. This is more a late night channel 5 movie than a piece of cinema, and even that might be overrating it a bit as nothing was ever explained throughout. This was summarised by a forgettable ending that never revealed who or why, but left the entire story as a complete mystery. It flowed relatively well and was easy to follow, but definitely lacked any form of wow factor, and is not something I care to repeat again.
