Audience Member Rajat Kapoor's directorial debut ''RAGHU ROMEO'' was showcased in many international film festivals like Oslo, San Fransisco, Toronto, Shanghai etc where it received rave reviews. It also got the National Film Award 2004 for BEST REGIONAL FILM (HINDI). Raghu Romeo lives to our expectation. Made in the duration of 100 minutes, The film unravels every layer with witty dialogues and ample of genuinely funny moments. RAGHU ROMEO is a well-directed film where Rajat Kapoor captures the spirit of Mumbai like the chaos, Nightlife, Traffic Jam etc. VIJAY RAAZ is the real show-stealer as the meek fellow Raghu, his body language, his facial expression & dialogue delivery all together brings out an submissive person. SAURABH SHUKLA as the contract killer Mario Brother is simply fantastic, he is also credited as the dialogue-writter perfectly. MARIA GORETTI is a revelation throughout, As the television actress Reshma she dives into the skin of character making it memorable while SADIYA SIDDIQUE hits a perfect notes as the insecure & streetsmart bar dancer Sweety. I strongly recommend you to watch this highly entertaining and enlightening film!! Let it be a conversation with the actress via a TV or the parallelism of the tv scenes to Raghu's life or the songs of the movie or the confusion yet clarity in the mind of Raghu. There is so much packed in this seemingly mediocre comedy.
