Thomas I Brought back so many good memories. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/30/19 Full Review Audience Member A really disturbing person. Not good to watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Exceptional. I wish we had more people like her today Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie about a Texas journalist who used her humour to poke fun at stupid politicians and crooks. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review dave d While I didn't know Molly Ivins, I wish I did and this awesome documentary made me feel like we were friends. They just don't make journalists like Ivins anymore and that's a loss for us all. It's a standard talking heads doc about the legendary writer with plenty of archival footage from CSPAN-2. I wonder what Ivins opinion of the current political climate would be. Perhaps she tells us with the last line of the film. It's really good if you appreciate truth to power and people who punch up. Final Score: 8.8/10 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Very enjoyable and I run republican Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/20 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Leila Latif Little White Lies What the world needs now is Molly Ivins. Rated: 4/5 Oct 23, 2020 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian Given that it's 13 years since Ivins died, it's puzzling why this film is coming out now, but it's never not a good time to celebrate a woman with an outsized, big-boned talent... Rated: 3/5 Oct 22, 2020 Full Review Marissa De La Cerda Chicago Reader Though the documentary doesn't feature any conservative talking heads to balance out its liberal voice, anyone could leave the film unsettled by how relevant Ivins's commentary remains today. Feb 20, 2020 Full Review Rob Aldam Backseat Mafia A rousing portrait of a brilliant journalist who would not be defeated. Oct 22, 2020 Full Review Diane Pershing Malibu Times Talking heads ranging from family members, friends and news anchors Rachel Maddow and Dan Rather bring excellent analysis of this once-in-a-lifetime and sorely missed pundit. Oct 2, 2020 Full Review Matt Cipolla The Spool It instead works because the film operates in and plays with its grey area, entirely uninterested in going towards any true 'side.' It, like Ivins, knows these polarities as a construct. Jan 17, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
