Although it’s a Netflix movie, it definitely resembled your typical Bollywood movie. Typical conflicts. Typical love story. But it was a cute movie and closer to the current times. Kind of cheesy at times but I enjoyed it.

Starting out as a farcical comedy it grows into a rather superlative watch with deeper connotations. Catfishing, stalking, feigning to love at first sight, innocent frauds, inevitable heartbreaks, soulful music, dramatic coincidences, crazy staging of events - it's remarkable how far parents will go to set their children up for success- too far? A beautifully told perfect story of imperfect people- a rich-royal-mess of love at the cost of preceived ethics: 'Rajma Chawal' on Netflix is a must watch!
