Audience Member Best description for this would be a dysfunctional family in a twisted love story. Very hard story to describe, but basically two brothers are in love with their step sister (not related by blood, but still!). She has chosen one brother over the other, but she's a nasty piece of work and gets the other brother to kidnap her so she can extort money out of her boyfriend (for reasons never made clear, to me, just seemed a bored girl with a nasty streak). Unfortunately the other brother is in love with her too and her teasing and flirting goes too far and leads to another nasty situation. Amazingly the story has a happy endings of types with unconditional love and forgiveness. Too brief at 80 minutes to have any real impact and does not ring overly true, but I do try to watch all the japanese current day movies to help me learn the language, so I did enjoy this in a way.
