Audience Member An informative documentary touching on the history of Rastafarianism as well as what it means to a variety of people spanning several nations. The narrator is Bob Marley's granddaughter and she conducts interviews with many historians, musicians, and lay people to get a better understanding. I felt overall the documentary could have had better organization and editing. There were a few scenes I felt confused about, particularly towards the end of the film. I never fully understood what the ongoing struggle was about, especially now that slavery and independence are no longer issues. In the end, I walked away feeling more informed but still having many questions, which is what I think the film intended to do. It was interesting to see how reggae music was the driving force of spreading the message. I would recommend this film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
