Scott Tobias The Dissolve 01/24/2014
1.0/5
The tease of 50 gorgeous women fighting to the death has a classic grindhouse appeal, but Raze is strictly a "be careful what you wish for" proposition. Go to Full Review
Soren Andersen Seattle Times 01/23/2014

The performances and plotting are so impoverished that the picture deserves to be called "The From Hunger Games," and then promptly forgotten. Go to Full Review

Prurient nonsense, a film only a couple of notches up from the women-in-prison films that were popular years and years ago. Go to Full Review
Aaron Peterson The Hollywood Outsider 10/12/2018

Raze is a punch to the gut from beginning to end and should satisfy even the most hardcore of fighting enthusiasts. Go to Full Review
Amanda Waltz The Film Stage 06/21/2016
C+
With plots as flimsy as the one presented here, there's a tendency to favor spectacle over character development, and it's no surprise that Raze struggles to balance the two. Go to Full Review
Stephen Danay Under the Radar 09/07/2014
4/10
The fights are visceral and gruesome without going too far, but by the sixth or seventh bout, the lack of variation becomes noticeable. Go to Full Review

chad D. @Chaddie Nov 19 It is what it is, a chance for Zoe Bell to show off, and although it was a total waste of time, it gets two stars because it had a decent twist early on. See more richard m 11/12/2024 I suppose 'caged heat' would best describe this film, and as a card carrying male I can think of worse ways to spend a cool fall morning on the Puget Sound. More torn clothes exposing full MILF bras instead of continuous non stop bloody violent death would have been a much more interesting movie (thus the 3 1/2 Star rating) See more Jeffrey P 08/26/2024 Think of it as the slightly more deranged and more criminal older sister to OITNB. Shockingly brutal and surprisingly well put together. A new and refreshing perspective on violence. See more KB B 12/06/2023 Yeah it got kind of long and repetitive. I did watch until the end because I was waiting for something better to come on. Obviously I would never want to watch it again. See more craig a 11/07/2022 This one sucked the bag. See more 05/07/2021 Women kidnapped and forced to fight to the death. Better than a lot of "men captured and must fight to the death" and stars Zoe Bell (stunt actor who rode on the hood of a car in Robert Rodriguez's Death Car. Good fight scenes.
