Nick Pirandello (James Belushi) is considered to be the best of the best among his colleagues at the CIA. So, when the agency loses its inside man on a top-secret mission, Nick is recruited to work with an everyday citizen, meek suburban dad Bob Wilson (John Ritter), who is the spitting image of the agent initially assigned to the case. Not only is Bob unaccustomed to the nature of dangerous CIA work, he also finds Nick's claims that the mission involves aliens a bit suspect.

This is an absolute “they don’t make them like they used to” classic. From the gratuitous 80’s style nudity in the first few scenes to the breezy soundtrack. It’s super fun and whimsical with a ton of heart.

I do understand what people are saying about the bad guys missing nearly every shot, but its just plot armor and besides that this movie is really great. I don't care what people say, these action scenes are really good and impressive.

It's terrible. The best thing you can say about it is that it's terrible. Starts out ok and then becomes terrible. A waste of two fun actors. If I didn't mention it, it's terrible. It's dumb and stupid and terrible. Don't waste your time.

The movie was trying hard to force a laugh but only prepubescent teens would snigger at its goofy setups. Dumb action scenes with bad guys that couldn't hit the side of a barn, muddled dialogue and surprisingly dialled-in performances from two superstars. I'm guessing this went straight to VHS. If you think there's a point where a movie is so dumb it's funny, maybe this is for you.

Ok, it's not The Matrix or was and peace. But it had totally original subplots and off the wall writing. It's a fun ride, just enjoy.

It's an underrated comedy--it's breezy, zany fun. Belushi & Ritter are great together, and this film even has heart. Water is life--especially in a collector's edition glass--all will be hunky dory. Blessed is the Maker, Shai-Hulud.

Synopsis
