Reality Winner (and her Father) are insufferably intolerant throughout the movie. Her 'boyfriend' nailed it, "You say you care about everyone, but you only care about yourself". Much like Edward Snowden, she was not clever enough to consider there might be good reasons why espionage is not shared with the public. How many lives were endangered by her 'selfless act'? Her lack of any kind of deeper reasoning powers led to her betrayal of her oaths to her government.
