Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Had Mr. Croudins focused more on Mitch's desire to distance himself from a wrong-side-of-the-tracks upbringing - and less on ticking genre boxes - his movie could only have been the better for it. Jan 16, 2014 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times Contrived and predictable yet fairly tense ... Jan 16, 2014 Full Review Ignatiy Vishnevetsky AV Club It moves fast (a rare quality for a contemporary thriller), but doesn't end up going anywhere interesting. Rated: C Jan 16, 2014 Full Review JD Duran InSession Film The main story arcs are done well and explores some pretty tough territory that we’ve seen before, but it plays it a unique way that’s pretty rare. Rated: B Aug 12, 2024 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens But bottom line -- there is no doubt about Reasonable Doubt -- it grabs your attention and holds on until the final verdict is in. Jan 8, 2020 Full Review Isaac Feldberg We Got This Covered There's no doubt in my mind that this dull, preposterous mess will be gone from my memory by this time tomorrow night. Lvl H started off decent… was pretty predictable. Hated the ending & Dominic Cooper is a terrible actor. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review alan d fast paced thriller, directed great and has a story which is rare these days. Plus an interesting premise. Great acting. A few plot flaws & some not very believable moments but was a fun time passer. The only sad thing for me is that if they erred a bit more towards fixing simple flaws they might have had a classic like the fugitive. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/03/24 Full Review Ronald H Embarrassingly bad, with a script that must have been written by a 7th grader. Without doubt, the worst film Samuel L. Jackson has ever appeared in. A lot of good actors take roles in horrible movies just for the money, but it's shameful to see Jackson sink this low. Maybe he figured it was so bad, nobody would see it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review Cheryl C I really liked the movie, we kept guessing what was next and were wrong LOL But how did Jimmy, the brother, know to show up in court and lie? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Luuk V I don't understand all the bad reviews. Really a great movie, definitely recommended! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A pretty unmemorable and uninspired thriller that felt like it was going through the motions despite offering a semi suspenseful, albeit totally outlandish and predictable, plot. I wasn't really a fan of the protagonist here and had a real hard time sympathizing with him or his self created predicament and only became interested when the serial killer angle was introduced. 4.5/10 Samuel L. Jackson Binge: Another cat and mouse game was afoot here, but this time with Jackson playing the role of the antagonist. This will often be more engaging for a viewer as those type of roles can allow an actor to express much more creativity and talent, however in this case Jackson's serial killer felt pretty bland. I would have been interested to hear more about his character's motivations instead of quickly glossing over huge chunks of important backstory in order to quickly explain plot points. *SLJ January #5 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
