Roy McCormick (Martin Lawrence) is a college basketball coach more famous for his temper than for his coaching ability. After one of his rages gets him banned from the sport, Roy takes a job coaching basketball at a middle school in an attempt to repair his reputation. Amazingly, what Roy began as a show of rehabilitation begins to genuinely change him, and he learns to care for his team. His relationship with local mom Jeanie (Wendy Raquel Robinson) is a good influence as well.

Bem bobinho e infantil, que passa uma mensagem de otimismo e força de vontade para as crianças, tristemente foi o único papel de protagonista Tara Correa no cinema, ela foi assassinada em um tiroteio de gangue, três meses após o lançamento do filme, faleceu aos 16 anos, ela não era atriz, quando sua mãe, que estava trabalhando para uma empresa de elenco na época, recomendou sua filha para o papel… Um filme bobinho que deixa nosso coração quentinho...

A funny movie that I enjoy watching I’m a basketball fan!! My favorite characters where Coach Roy, Keith and Jeanie. So I don’t understand how this movie got bad readings! Did any one think that this movie could motivate somebody to play basketball!! or any sports!!!! Think on that. But all together sweet family movie. I’m giving this movie a 85%OK!!
