Kim D Interesting to see Chaplin so early with other big names, Ford Sterling, Fatty... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyable if forgettable Chaplin short. Charlie tries to woo a married woman and ends up throwing fighting her husband and having run ins with the police. Standard early Chapin stuff is solid, though nowhere as great as "The Kid" or "Modern Times". Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member same as most of the early shorts. chaplin wants woman, other man also wants woman. framing cuts off heads. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This is another of the early Chaplin shorts that features poor framing, so that heads are cut off throughout the film. The plot is nonsensical, really just Charlie fighting with lots of people over a woman.
