Audience Member Watch the full series, it's much more worth your time over this cut down version Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member A 90 minute version of the classic Brian Jacques novel that spawned a series of books and three seasons of an animated TV show. Tim Curry and Alison Pill's voices stand out. The DVD should be re-released. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member if you're a redwall fan like I am, you can see good and bad in this. the art was ok, the portrayals were weak, the way they followed the plot sometimes went off, and boy do I hate the voice casting. this didnt need to be made, but its still ok I guess Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The animation may be a little low-budget, and a few episodes stray from the book; but overall, the story is well-told, and the heart placed into the making of this legendary novel adaptation is unquestionable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I love the book; I love the movie. There is nothing better than Redwall. ;) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member 1999 Canada/France Director: Raymond Jafelice Score: 8 This feature combines very good animation with a solidly done plot. It is a great venue to bring to life the premier book of the Redwall literary series. The plot is intriguing, entertaining, action filled, suspenseful, and yet still maintains a good balance of simplicity so that child and adult can understand and enjoy it. The animation is detailed and compliments, not only the good plot, but the voice work done by the actors. The soundtrack is effective, though nothing memorable after the viewing is done. Like most films inspired by high fantasy literature, this one was not as grand or detailed as the book itself, but it is indeed an honorable tribute to its source materiel. Notes: HV Suggested Age: 8+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
