Josh Goller Spectrum Culture The preposterous plot is compounded by a lifeless script that doesn’t exude an inkling of self-awareness, which could otherwise make the scenery-chewing performances at least enjoyable in their contrivances. Rated: 1/5 Dec 7, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Jefferson W I loved this film and was thinking about it for days. It has a unique and interesting structure in that the first part is a fast based psychological crime thriller that unravels a puzzle as to what happened. The second part is deeper and slower and unravels the puzzle of why. Definitely not your usual boilerplate psychological drama. It's deeper and more psychological. The film is accompanied by fantastic moody film noir-like cinematography and incredible emotional performances from an ensemble cast unlike few films I have seen. Rafael Sikic, the lead, is a future star who gives a powerful and vulnerable performance. You will want to see this early work of his. Sandy his sister is already a star and incredibly capable. Gladise Jiminez gives one of the best performances of her career - heartfelt, moving and solid. The actor who plays Sean and the mother Helene Udy are equally stellar. The actress who played young Judie was also a standout and another future star in the making. The actor who plays the psychologist gave a deep layered performance dripping with subtext. Even the smaller parts are extremely well done - the policemen on the scene, young Jay, the second detective, others I have probably forgotten. There isn't a weak performance to be found or even an average one. Overall, a great film that I am sure I will end up watching again and again.
