Variety Staff Variety A good bet. Jan 26, 2021 Full Review Alfred A. Duckett New York Age No, it's not a new story. But the story is only incidental to the innate, uncanny beauty which Louise Beavers brings to her interpretation. xo x Written, produced and directed by blacks...for whites entertainment....how sad. Ms Beavers effectively portrays a warm caring mother figure who establishes a foundation of honor for all the "ferel boys"...her personal success proves that it is possible to learn and succeed in the American society as a woman and of a minority. The stereotyping was disturbing in every way. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Read all reviews
