Casting a spotlight on the history of policing and evolution of the police state is definitely something worth unpacking. I especially appreciated the dialogue about fixing the problem, with tangible solutions. I hope more people take the time to explore the nature of “policing” and feel motivated to help solve related issues in our local communities. (and I've seen a great many!) An eye-opening history of American law enforcement –- Ken Burns would be very proud! If Director Matthew Solomon is a first-time director, this is even more impressive… and my understanding is that Matthew Solomon used "only" an iPhone! Quite an achievement.
