John Hofsess Maclean's Magazine ...it oversimplifies, it does not probe sympathetically, it has no interest in complex truths, or moral ambiguities. Jan 30, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Aender S The Quebecker take on the mobster film genre. While the plot is related to real local events in the Montréal area, the acting is rather stiff with long pauses between the lines. Although one highlight's Réjeanne Padovani's last monologue. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Audience Member I think this is a great and honest movie and that the Mclean critic is totally biaised. Denys Arcard is a great cineast, worth seeing!
