Audience Member Remove Kirk Douglas and there's not much of a movie for today's X-men audiences, despite its strong faith overtones. There is one scene between Kirk's character Joe and Leah that gave this film its "meaningful love story". Pam Dawber from Mork and Mindy was the youngest and prettiest girl in the film. The sequences that carried her romance look better in fast-forward mode. Over-all I think the film is worth watching as it explores holocaust survivors meeting, bonding, encouraging one another decades after World War II.
