Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald This movie combines the series' crass dim-bulb humour with fun guests and a little Billy Ocean revival to keep things weird. Jan 20, 2022 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …When so much effort is made trying to ignore the encroaching corruption that’s hobbling America, it’s something of a shock to see a film that goes after the same subject with such manic, childish ferocity… Rated: 3/5 Jun 28, 2022 Full Review Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene Messy in a way that absolutely feels true to the insanity of the current era, the latest Reno 911 installment is the kind of thing that delivers just enough laughs and weird narrative turns to justify its presence. Apr 5, 2022 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots What a disappointment that such a fantastic, funny premise is squandered. This is a total clunker thats dead on arrival. Justin Cole M I got about an hour in and couldn't finish it. The best laughs were in the first five minutes. After that it meanders all over the place and seems listless. They had enough of a cast to make a much better film than this but it seems like they just didn't have a script. Add onto that it feels like either they filmed this at peak COVID restrictions or they had zero money because there was a noticable lack of extras in so many scenes, with some odd framing to hide it in several shots. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Audience Member There are definitely quick funny moments as the department goes on a cruise to find out just who Q is. It's mostly sideways one liners and some slapstick that give the laughs. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is pure randomness. Granted this is exactly how the tv show is but at least in the first Reno 911 movie it had some good funny moments. Maybe it's because the cast was younger back then and now as older people it seems more childish. In the original show they looked 30 something's but here 20 years later they look 50 something's. The premise is simple which that's a plus but they don't really explore everything. Reno 911 has always been the lets do dumb things and have no emotion or we know that they'll survive. Maybe I don't like this movie as much because I did a back to back with the first Reno 911 movie and then immediately watched this. In the end it's a dumb movie and another dumb Reno 911 project. It would've been better if this movie was their defunded season instead. That could've been interesting but we'll never know. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Still an easy watch but just doesn’t have the zingers they used too 2.2 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/26/22 Full Review Audience Member The worst comedy I have seen in years. Not one joke landed. Also, it was interesting that it stated that it was PG-13, however, the sight gags were very sexual, and language was very R rated. That said, it was quite boring Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/22 Full Review Audience Member Peak Reno 911. Best of the entire series. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/22 Full Review Read all reviews
