Painfully bad. I don’t understand what people see in this movie. It is not good. I am a cinephile and there was little good to say about this film to be completely honest. It had a decent premise but execution was poor. Poor script, poor acting, low production value, boring direction. The ending was the only interesting part of the movie but was still very unsatisfying.

This movie really sneaks up on you, and catches you off guard. I knew a little of what I was getting into ahead of time, seeing a few of Benson in Moorehead's other movies, but I was still a little confused until the story started taking some turns. A great movie for their first attempt, and I love that other movie since tie into an ever expanding universe.

The filmmaking duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Scott Moorhead are trapped in Resolution in the first collaboration and it is as mind bending as you'd expect if you know these two! I needed this explained to me, so it is a bit ambiguous, but once you understand it, you may want to rewatch it. I love these Benson-Moorhead films and to see them at the beginning it a treat. Final Score: 6.7/10
