Restless is a frustrating and disjointed film that promises intrigue but never delivers a cohesive narrative. From the start, it teases drama and tension, yet the story meanders without direction, leaving the audience disengaged. The screenplay is its biggest weakness, offering underdeveloped scenes, flat dialogue, and misdirected moments that fail to build suspense or investment. The direction compounds these issues, with abrupt scene transitions and poor pacing, making it feel like a film created without a clear vision. The lead’s performance lacks conviction, further disconnecting viewers from the character’s journey. Supporting roles add little depth, and the overall tone remains flat and uninspired. Occasional flashes of potential are quickly lost, and the film’s visual and auditory elements fail to create immersion. Ultimately, Restless is a disappointment—misleading, hollow, and unable to engage, offering style without substance or payoff.

Lyndsey Marshal is a remarkable actress. I watched the entire movie, which is unusual these days. She appears alone in 90% of the movie The film should end with the villain running off with his ass showing.

I really enjoyed this movie but I confess that the ending was rather lackluster. Everything was fine till the ending, which was actually something of a letdown. Other than the disappointing conclusion, the movie held my interest and had me wondering what was going to happen next at every moment.
