Dave V This is a very well done movie. People may not like the honest brutality, but it gives a good picture of just how damaging child abuse is. A fantastic film. It should be dark, for it is dealing with a dark issue. Worth watching for sure. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/08/23 Full Review Debra B A revolting explicit shock film with absolutely no redeeming value. I couldn't bring myself to watch the whole thing or I would have been ill. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/06/23 Full Review Kyle J This story needs to be read as a novel, as everything is in the hero's mind. As a movie, it's one long introduction while you wait for something to happen. Something does happen in the final minutes, but I did not buy it: Those guys don't repent because they don't think they're wrong. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review dan b it was slow but kept up enough to keep me interested and it ended great Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review stephanie s So good. Such a fine, delicate, and accurate balance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review bryan b A crazy guy going crazy has become the new role for actors to take on to try and win some award Hollywood likes to give themselves. Usually (this one included) turns into a bunch of monologs and not really caring much about the nut job. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Maher Times (UK) Yet the film does allow Bloom to stretch his range and to deliver two showboating monologues that demonstrate, if nothing else, that the narrative of his career is worth changing. Rated: 2/5 Mar 29, 2021 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian There's a kind of blunt brute force to [Bloom's] performance - and he looks almost unrecognisable, as if he's using certain muscles in his face for the first time. Rated: 3/5 Mar 25, 2021 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times ...in a brilliant, brooding, captivating performance here, Bloom has established himself as an intense, physical, screen-dominating presence... Rated: 3/4 Jul 27, 2020 Full Review Trent Neely Battle Royale With Cheese Retaliation is an honest, sometimes brutal study of how trauma, guilt, and shame can wear down a person Mar 29, 2021 Full Review Edward Porter Sunday Times (UK) Orlando Bloom does a good job with his several anguished, explicit monologues, but he can't give credibility to the tale that unfolds when his character ponders revenge. Rated: 2/5 Mar 29, 2021 Full Review Tom Beasley Flickering Myth An enthralling character study anchored by an A-list star delivering a performance of real nuance, control and sophistication.
