Synopsis
In this documentary set in New York City, nine choreographers who characterize themselves as postmodern dancers describe the evolution of modern dance and the changes it underwent in the 1980s. They explain how rigid rules of modern dance began to dissolve and new creative factors came into play that were not previously welcome in the art form. These choreographers retrace their firsthand experience living through the slow revolution, which rendered a new approach to dance.
