Audience Member This is actually titled "Crippled Avengers" and is not a sequel to 5 Deadly Venoms despite the title here. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member When your son gets his arms cut off and the wife gets her legs cut off and dies, it doesn't give you the right to turn into a right nasty cunt. Sadly, this is what happens to Chen Kuan-Tai. I love the training and the premise of revenge is genius. One of my favourite Shaw Brother productions. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly funny and sometimes overtly gory kung-fu story about 4 guys all made handicapable by the same evil kung-fu master. The evil master became a big meanie after someone killed his wife and "dearmed" his son, so you kinda feel for the guy. The extended fight scenes are excellently choreographed and demonstrate a lot of acrobatic skill. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member What an odd, kinda stupid little movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Even less plot than an average martial arts flick, but some really well choreographed, acrobatic extended fights. Some interesting fighting props, as well. The very last fight is underwhelming - everyone just seems like they're tired and want to stop - but it's pretty short and the fights leading up to it are fun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Crippled Avengers (Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms) has wondrous fight scenes but the rest of the film is rather silly and weird. It's still worth a watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
