Audience Member A very well written film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Return With Honor is the story of an obstinate young missionary who returns home from his mission only to be in a "fatal" car accident. After his apparent death,he is on the other side and he says he wants to have the opportunity to see his mother join the church. A voice gives him 60 days to accomplish this daunting task. This is where the fun really begins. Our young missionary friend returns and we are introduced to the colorful cast of characters that pepper his life. He works so diligently to accomplish his feat, but in so doing he neglects to see his actions are actually causing a rift to develop between his mom and those he holds dear to him. To be able to fully describe the breadth of this tale you must be able to understand several languages, the first of which is love. Through love our young friend is able to unlock the mysteries to all of life's obstacles. It is the powerful underlying message of the movie. The film did a magnificent job of tackling many of the major difficulties one might face in everyday life. The director is able to handle sensitive issues, such as the scene where he asks his bishop about sex, and treat them with the delicacy they deserve. Other directors may not have been as daring, wondering if such a scene would come across as cheesy or uncomfortable, let me assure you it was neither. It was filled with insight and inspiration. I think by taking the time to watch this film you are making a declaration you are ready to love and you have a strong desire to do what is right. Along the ride you will be able to witness a wonderful story wrapped around marvelous acting performances and powerful directing. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member awesome movie...would watch again if got the chance..=]...i cried...omg....beautiful... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Yeah the plot synopsis is totally bogus and has NOTHING to do with the movie. here's what the box says. "Rowe McDonald is a headstrong missionary who has life after his mission all figured out. When a fatal car crash interrupts his plans, he is given 60 days to return to life and finish his work. now he must choose whether to lead the life he planned or reach beyond himself to change the lives of others. What will he do? Who will he touch? How will he prepare to leave it all behind?" Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is about a return missionary that struggles with how he can get his non member mother baptized and how he will tell his fiance he can't marry her after being told he has 60 days to live. Good plot, and decent acting by the main characters although when you hear the "Utah accents" from some of the supporting cast, it temporarily reminds you of the budget this was probably made with. Raymond Zeiters who plays the character "Corbin" is excellent and steals most of the scenes. This movie moves right along and has a great message about how we judge others. 4 out of 5 stars. Parental Guidance: There is one scene where the 2 main characters are making out that is quite long. I was surprised. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The Plot Synopsis and Cast List are definitely not the correct ones for this movie. I think this is what's on the back of the DVD: "Rowe McDonald is a headstrong missionary who has life after his mission all figured out. When a fatal car crash interrupts his plans, he is given sixty days to return to life and finish his work. Now he must choose whether to lead the life he planned, or reach beyond himself to change the lives of others. What will he do? Who will he touch? How will he prepare to leave it all behind?"
