Thom Mathews showing up again to face zombies like he didn’t learn a single thing the first time is honestly the franchise energy I love most. This sequel is goofier, louder, and way more cartoonish, but somehow that just makes it even more fun. The gags hit, the zombies look fantastic, and the whole movie plays like a live action Saturday morning horror comedy. Not as sharp as the original, but still an absolute blast. Sometimes you just want undead chaos, screaming kids, and Thom Matthews having the worst déjà vu of his life.
