Audience Member There is a large crossover of the people who made up the violent mob that committed insurrection at our Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, and the pro-birth wackos. This documentary gives some insight into how we got here and what we must do to fight this egregious assault on human rights. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This tells the tale of what really happened to the Republican Party. This is truly not my father's party. Radical evangelical Christians and the anti-abortion movement have taken it over. They are becoming successful in turning their religious beliefs into law. These are very trying times for our democracy. I am no longer confident that it will survive. This is the Christian version of the Taliban operating right before you eyes pushing their religion onto this Republic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a real documentary with real information and statistics about what happens when you ban abortion, unlike "Unplanned" which looked more like a horror film than a real life case. You may end up hating prolifers when you watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Extremely biased "documentary" that attempts to demonize pro-life people. Pure propaganda. the only positive thing about the film is seeing how afraid the radical pro-abortion voices in the film are that they are going to lose the battle over abortion. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The documentary never attempts to answer the question: "Is the entity in the womb a person?" Which needs ...... at least SOMETHING! Some hint at an answer at least. The filmmakers essentially give their opinion by avoiding the question. Other than that, a good history lesson as long as you know the agenda, have a thinking mind and aren't easily swayed. For a better look at an intellectual way to engage/ wade into prochoice/ prolife arguements, go to Equal Rights Institute or read /watch anything by Josh Brahm. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The cognitive dissonance in this documentary is almost impressive. If you want a (somewhat) accurate history of abortion becoming legalized, and an extremely and very obviously biased portrayal of the current state of affairs, this is the movie for you. If you are pro-choice and want to reinforce your beliefs without an accurate representation of the other side of the debate, this movie is for you. If you are pro-life and want your head to explode, this is the movie for you. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Robert Abele Los Angeles Times As contentiousness turned into real-world consequences, "Reversing Roe" reminds us that the more women get involved regarding their rights, the more likely we're to see a fair, principled fight. Sep 12, 2018 Full Review Ben Kenigsberg New York Times Provides a clear and accessible overview of more than 50 years of the social and legal history of the issue in the United States. Sep 12, 2018 Full Review Caryn James Hollywood Reporter Solid and valuable but familiar. Sep 11, 2018 Full Review Cate Young BattyMamzelle Largely the fight [about abortion] is in the language, and the right's expert ability to reframe discussions on their own terms. Rated: 4/5 Mar 10, 2019 Full Review Alan French AwardsCircuit.com While the pacing becomes uneven at times, Netflix has another strong documentary on its hands. Rated: 3/4 Oct 10, 2018 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Covering a lot of ground in its 99 minute runtime, the film is a good introduction for anyone struggling to grasp the mechanisms involved in recent political and judicial dealings relating to this issue.
