Cowboy Gene Autry (Gene Autry) has inherited the Belmont Packing Company, a meatpacking business, thanks to a favor his father once did for the owner. This pits him against Ann Randolph (June Storey), who owns a competing business. Despite the competitive nature of their relationship, a romance blossoms between the rival business owners. But, when Ann's employees attempt to sabotage Gene's company, Gene and his buddy, Frog (Smiley Burnette), are forced to stop them.
