Cork B This thing spends more time justifying its own existence than it does telling any kind of coherent story. So there are these Nazis, see? We can all get behind Nazis are bad right? Now, Nazis are all dead now, so we have to have a guy that sounds German and talks about Aryans being better and bragging about his art collection .... I wonder how we can stick it to those bad Nazis???? We will need some sort of young, good looking, diverse cast for the heist... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Lloyd S Why this movie exist??? Bad acting and also bad story. Sucks in everyway possible! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/23 Full Review Paul N Do not waste your time on this movie. None of the characters had any interesting features or dialogue and were just poorly copied from other heist movies. The mastermind, the superhacker blah blah. I could forgive all that but what I found inexplicable was why they set up the 'wild card' to be killed by the nazi. The supposedly righteous thieves who were against guns and violence were totally relaxed about him being killed, in fact they gloated over it. His death had no effect on returning the paintings to the museum and so was totally unnecessary and out of place. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/09/23 Full Review matt b A cheeseball through and through with unnecessary objectives Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review Dana S This film has a great premise therefore it was exceptionally disappointing when the film lagged and didn't deliver. The writing was very choppy and lacked finesse. The acting falls short in too many moments which is just a shame. Could have been a truly good film in more seasoned hands. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Paper B One of the best movies of 2023. Great cast, wonderful flow and action! Wow!!! Awesomeness! Joe Levy Washington Post Thanks to a script by Michael Corcoran full of the kind of pauses that drag out the playing time instead of enhancing it with originality. Bullets fly, but none of them in the right direction. Rated: 2/4 Mar 13, 2023 Full Review Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness Oddly, the film makes a better pilot for a television program than it does a feature, placing dramatic emphasis on the mission via the Holocaust at the expense of character development, all while setting up further adventures ... . Rated: 2/5 May 17, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media What could have been a pretty solid heist story is thwarted by budgetary shortcomings, bits of awkward or confusing writing, and draggy direction that makes things feel like they're taking too long. Rated: 2/5 Mar 13, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files None of the cast has the default cool charisma of George Clooney and Brad Pitt or the textbook example of a movie action hero presence like Vin Diesel, Jason Statham or Dwayne Johnson. In this case, imitation can only take the film but so far. Rated: 5/10 Mar 11, 2023 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies Righteous Thieves pretty much runs out of steam as soon as it's finished establishing the reason for its central robbery. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 10, 2023 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru An anemic heist film that lacks thrills, suspense, wit and clever surprises. Mar 8, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
