Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie. Truly awesome. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member An intriguing story of will and desire to overcome the odds but it lacked some much needed professional help. Jay Demerit is a great soccer player and his story is one that is sure to inspire soccer fans and non-soccer fans alike but the amateur mistakes made in this documentary are really unforgivable. From jump cuts, slowly zooming out to fix shots, and lousy editing the mistakes just piled up. The writing could have been stronger as well but even with all the mistakes the story of an American soccer hero like Jay is one that should be seen and heard. Jay is a favorite of mine and a player that I hold high praise for.
