Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Clearly intended as a loving tribute to its inspiration. Rated: 2.0/4.0 Sep 21, 2020 Full Review Aaron Peterson The Hollywood Outsider Budget or not, there are several very clever and innovative shots in the film that I personally found impressive for first-time feature director Ron Newcomb. Audience Member Loved it. Great humor and a great story! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A good, clean family movie for your adolescent kids. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie had more plot holes than any movie i have ever seen. If its nota plot hole its beyond unrealistic. At one point a student plants pot in the main characters locker. So far it doesn't sound too over the top, but he plants over half an ounce! Its just something they could have easily changed. I mean really he planted like $180 worth of weed! Seriously a gram or two would have made sense. Then of course there's no problems with the cops even though he would be behind bars for at least a day. The countless plot holes just made the movie hard to watch. The few stars i gave to this movie were for the creativeness of the story as a whole. With a few changes this movie would have been great! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A very well-conceived, well-played, clever idea for a film. It's like a Fanboys movie for fans of Lord of the Rings, online gaming, and best of all: it's family-friendly! Packed with fun characters, witty and clever parallels to the Peter Jackson films, and an overall concept that both acknowledges and honors the fandom of gaming, Rise of the Fellowship is a movie for geeks by geeks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member 75% "I give my popularity to you... It's mine to give. For you, I choose an uncool life."-Lisa "Dream Girl" The rise of nerdom. Extremly lighthearted, which makes for, easy viewing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member very cute and ties in with the movie very well. I am an rpg player and found this fun to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
