Mike S This redo of the movie Roadhouse was yet another dismal attempt by Hollyweird to capitalize on what was once a very good movie. The story did not jive with the original, Conor McGregor seemed out of place as the big bad bully. Not a good cast except for Jake G. A bunch of nobody actors placed there for window dressing. I've seen the original at least four times and it ranks right up there with movies that keep you engaged and memorable. This one stunk. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review kevin c Road House 2 is basically exactly what it claims to be…Road House all over again with much less successful results. Here at a small Southern town, the police and anyone of importance is in the pocket of slightly insane drug kingpin Jake Busey. He wants to buy the Black Pelican a raucous honkytonk. After putting the owner in the hospital fighting for his life, his nephew, the son of Dalton hits town to take care of business. Simple lazy story that lacks the coolness and fun of the original. It's far from unwatchable, but would have been better off being it's own thing. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review G w They made this trash as a joke, right??? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/14/20 Full Review Audience Member Some old bull......! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Man, I would hope for better for Johnathon Schaech, but I guess he's trapped forever in b-movie hell with films like this. Don't get me wrong, it's sort of an okay watch for what it is, but it never has the charisma of the original film, nor does it make a lot of sense as far as the tenuous connections they draw with the first film. Rental. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It was never going to be easy following up the 1989 Swayze classic. It is even tougher when you have none of the cast. However, this is highly entertaining as Daltons son takes on Gary Buseys. Will Patton is the balls. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

David Cornelius eFilmCritic.com For a few certain segments of the population (you know who you are), I can say that it delivers everything you could possibly want out of a movie called Road House 2. Rated: 2/5 Jul 13, 2006 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews A remake as much as it is a sequel, Road House 2 features many of the same one-liners and action beats as its predecessor - ie Shane's uncle, while lying in a hospital, remarks, "your dad got one thing wrong: pain does hurt!" Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 11, 2006 Full Review Bill Chambers Film Freak Central It sits there like a dead frog waiting for the electrodes Rated: 0/4 Jul 9, 2006 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com So yeah, it's a mindless, silly mess. But hell, it's also called Road House 2, so you probably knew that going in. Rated: 2.5/5 Jun 29, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews
