Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Indian animation has finally come of age. Roadside Romeo, the first Walt Disney-Yashraj [Films] rollout is a barrel of fun. May 2, 2019 Full Review Namrata Joshi Outlook Roadside Romeo might mark a big jump forward for Indian animation, but it has to find its own place in the sun and grow as a distinct genre than remaining content as an adjunct of Bollywood. Rated: 2/4 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Derek Elley Variety Roadside Romeo scores high on the tech front but considerably lower on script smarts. Oct 27, 2008 Full Review Michael Dequina TheMovieReport.com A case of everything old feeling new again, for it is truly a refreshing and boundary-pushing entry in the world of feature animation. Rated: 3/4 Jan 24, 2009 Full Review David Chute L.A. Weekly You'd think the free-for-all atmosphere of the best Bollywood romps would be a perfect fit in the CG realm. Oct 30, 2008 Full Review Frank Lovece Film Journal International Stray dogs sing, dance, find love and confront a gangster mongrel on the streets of Mumbai. India's first major computer-animated feature, a co-production of Disney and Bollywood giant Yash Raj Films, makes for an inauspicious debut. Oct 28, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

André L Roadside Romeo is a very average film, look the script may be good, but the quality is not that good and the characters can be very pathetic lol. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Undram N it is so good the movie quality not so much, loved it as a kid and love the music, the plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/23 Full Review Snow I Melhor filme que eu vi, marcou minha infância e tive o prazer de compartilhar com amigos, agora poderei para sempre guarda-lo como assunto do meu futuro psiquiatra. Layla podia virar sabão um dia desses. Kisses 😘 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A casual dialog is fine but when you try too hard at a casual script, you get cheese. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member There comes a time in ones life where they seem to watch things over and over and over to the point where everything new has been done once, not twice but three times before....this wasn't one of them. Yes there is alot of cliche in this film, but has music and charm nailed down to a T. Great performances and chemistries in this film taking it from the less boring typical route and kinda blending in alot of humor and heart into the story. Don't want to really spoil it or talk to much about it but I was impressed and this is no lazy ass Alpha and Omega clone. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Packed with loads of memorable music, quotable lines, and even more memorable characters, Roadside Romeo is one of the best animated films i've ever seen. Bollywood's first ever computer animation is a highly likable and truly beautiful debut film. The colours and movements of the characters are enchantingly crisp and truly capture the cartooniness of hand drawn animated films in the process. The soundtrack is catchy and the romance tale is more engaging and edgy, and bravely more boundary pushing than animated films of the west. It benefits extremely well from it's sensually seductive voice acting that completely eradicates any sense of dullness. Roadside Romeo truly is an impressive achievement in modern animation, filled with charm and personality animated films dont seem to have anymore. I loved it, one of my favourite films.
