Mark McPherson Film Inquiry There's little reason to seek out the film past being a Robotech completionist, considering how much better Megazone 23 looks when not filtered through Robotech Americanization. Jul 3, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A typical 80s anime movie. It had a lot of action that revolved around some drama. However, the story was lacking overall. North American audiences might think of GI Joe when they watch this, as it's not really a serious anime. It would appeal more kids. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Messy editing with a scrambled plot, it doesn't have much to do with Robotech beyond a few common concepts. The characters are fairly bland and certain elements were unneeded. It felt like 2 movies in one, which I guess it was. Decent climax though.
