Global Heresy tries to put together new material without their frontman Ben (Alex Karzis), who has disappeared on the eve of their European tour. Things seem to fall into place with the addition of Nat (Alicia Silverstone), the beautiful and talented bass player who is called in to fill the void. It comes increasingly apparent that Nat is much better than Ben ever was. Just when things are looking up, Ben returns and informs the band that the whole thing has been a publicity stunt.

pj m Haven't watched yet, BUT ALSO listed as ROCK MY WORLD on my EPIX list. In case you can't find. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Much better than the reviews. I actually enjoyed the move especially Peter Finch and Joan Plowright as well as Martin Clunes as the sneaky and devious music agent. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Eight-time Oscar nominee Peter Oâ??Toole is stuck with an ensemble whose acting would embarrass the â??Saved By The Bellâ?? cast in this straight-to-video mess. He still shines in the momentary chances heâ??s given as an aristocratic snob hosting party-obsessed rock stars for a week. The only other highlightâ??Alicia Silverstoneâ??s virtuoso bass guitar playingâ??sadly accounts for only three minutes of a very long 106-minute film. Because itâ??s so completely off kilter, itâ??s almost as fun to watch as an ancient â??Beach Blanket Bingoâ?? movie, but this zany mess is from 2002. C-minus. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A silly movie elevated substantially by O'Toole and Plowright. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member A rock band bursts onto the scene and then their frontman disappears on the eve of a European tour. stars Alicia Silverstone, Peter O'Toole, Joan Plowright, Lochlyn Munro, Jamiz Woolvett, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Christopher Bolton, Martin Clunes and Amy Phillips. directed by Sidney J. Furie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member silly film, with wanna be rocker, nothing new. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
