Synopsis
The theft of $50,000 worth of gold dust from a bank in Oregon brings together three reluctant family members: Joe Dandridge (Frank Fenton), who heads up the town's police; his visiting son, Pete (Peter Graves) ; and Joe's nephew, Ownie Rodgers (Rory Calhoun), with whom he has had a fight. They begin their pursuit of the thieves, and find evidence against a prospector named H.P. Jackson (George Stern). When they arrest him, he commits suicide and leaves behind a legacy of questions and doubts.
