Dumb people won't like it. The writing & dialogue are rich with character details that are portrayed with a nice subtlety without coming off as pretentious. This is a solid action film that stands on its own with its unique direction & doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is. The fact that it is often overlooked only makes it cooler. Love this movie.

I think, definitively, the most bland gray/brown movie visually ever made. The characters (and their performances) and Paris are shot with the life and flair of day old roadkill. Great car chases.
