Audience Member Daring! Came out before I was born. The most interesting thing was it was like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre robocob. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Audience Member Any one expecting to see the android, depicted in the movie poster, will be surely disappointed. What you get instead is "The Cop" from The Village People, 70's mustache and all. It's a cheap, crappy "movie', capitalizing on the popularity of Terminator and RoboCop. R.O.T.O.R. (Robotic Officer Tactical Operations Research), S.U.C.K.S (substandard unpleasant cheesy kiddish stinky). Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Plan 9 From Outer Space is generally considered the worst movie of all time... ROTOR makes Plan 9 seem High Brow! This is beyond a "Must-See" if you like bad movies. Whoever wrote this knows nothing about Police, robotics, plot lines or writing about police or robots. Interesting that there are a bunch of Isuzus in it though, must have been a sponsor... Wonder if they got their money back?!? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member My word... what a hunk of junk! It's a hilarious rip-off of Terminator and RoboCop with some of the worst production value and acting that would be laughable in a porno. I hate dogging on a movie this bad, but what the hell was going through their heads?! I guess it could play for some good laughs as a drinking game... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/20 Full Review Matteo P For an hour absolutely nothing happens, if you haven't asleep you can even laugh for the rest of the film Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/06/19 Full Review Audience Member Really a zero star film, but I did get at least ** stars or maybe more worth of entertainment out of it. The story is a hilariously awful Robocop/Terminator ripoff about a robotic police officer being created to patrol the mean streets of Dallas, TX. However, the robot goes haywire and must be stopped by the scientist who created it. The dialogue is just terrible and the acting is even worse, but in the best sort of way. The Dr. Frankenstein main character who creates the police robot is played by Richard Gesswein, who I'm pretty sure another actor dubbed all his lines because what he says never seem to quite match up to his mouth, though that just adds to the film's Ed Wood-like 80s charm. Now the robotic police office is actually just a big actor, but there is one funny ultra low budget stop motion sequence that shows the robot skeleton doing kung-fu. Undeniably an amateurish and poorly made film, but it's one that is SO badly made that it is an awesome film experience for connoisseurs of bad cinema Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
