Audience Member I think Danny Dyer is brilliant in this comedy farce so many laugh out loud moments. It's a film starring Danny Dyer without one swear word but everything he says still makes you laugh. The list of famous faces in cameo roles is incredible, Lionel Blair falling through a bathroom floor is incredible and Danny Dyer falling from the side of the building is knockout... Neil Morrissey the other star in the film also shines.. if you like watching farces at the theatre you'll love this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious! Lots of cameos. Must see the sequel "Caught In The Net". Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member 1/2 a star for all the cameos and money going to charity. Surgery would be preferable. Without anaesthetic. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member So bad. That is 90 minutes of my life I will never get back Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member 600.00 pounds in its opening weekend. Yes its that dire. Like a revamped Carry on film. Danny isnt so dire and shows he can do comedy - given the right script. Van Outen is awful she overacts in all scenes. Harding was dreadful. The cast of cameos was the fun part from Cliff Richard to Judi Dench to Sylvia syms to Su Pollard.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not much to say about this film really. The humour was so poor. But good actors and actresses in it especially Danny dyer. Peter Bradshaw Guardian The trouser-dropping 80s stage farce finally hits the big screen with Danny Dyer, to kill off any remaining British self-respect. Rated: 1/5 Feb 14, 2013 Full Review Tom Huddleston Time Out Run for the exit. Rated: 1/5 Feb 14, 2013 Full Review Adam Lee Davies Little White Lies A bizarre, ill-advised antediluvian folly. Like Jurassic Park. Rated: 2/5 Feb 14, 2013 Full Review Charlie Lyne Ultra Culture It's hard to believe that the play could have warranted a 9-year theatrical run in 1983. I guess the past really is a foreign country. One populated exclusively by toddlers. Feb 19, 2013 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk Truly dire. An offensive, witless farrago... The film's social attitudes - to homosexuality, women, marriage - appear to have been preserved in mothballs since the 1970s. Given air now, they give off an offensive odour. Feb 16, 2013 Full Review Rich Cline Contactmusic.com British farces work on stage, but usually feel agonisingly stupid on screen. And this is a worst-case scenario, as playwright Cooney adapts his classic 1983 farce without even the slightest adjustment for the cinema. Rated: 1.5/5 Feb 15, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
