Audience Member This is one of the more bizarre if not flat out confusing movies I've ever seen. A black and white western scored by Zappa alone is weird, now add in three misfit siblings-an overbearing masculine sister, a good looking but dimwitted brother and a flat out dumb-witted hunchback- along with a ditzy blonde with the IQ of a 3 year old. Even better, stick them in a desert with a thirst for blood and revenge and hope to God something happens. (Spoilers: Not much happens.) Shockingly, through the fog that is this film, there's a couple of bright lights that manage to shine through- a great score, and some pretty decent acting from Mercedes McCambridge. All that said, I can't really complain, it's pleasantly watchable despite being fairly unwatchable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
