Audience Member Directed by Halifax NS filmmaker Ben Proudfoot, it chronicles the staging of a production of 'Romeo & Juliet' in said African country twenty years after the genocide that left a million Rwandans dead. Gorgeously photographed, it offers an uplifting message about reconciliation while still asking tough questions about the true motivation behind the production and the larger issue of Western guilt over its failure to aid the Rwandan people two decades ago.
