nick s Arch Hall Jr was right on the border of over playing his character, but perhaps there are personalities just like he was portraying? The story was pretty basic and the very end was a little disappointing. But minor complaints. Overall the acting was compelling, the tension never let up and there were plenty of shocks. Good movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/04/24 Full Review Deke P WOW: 100% rating from RT pro reviewers. I'd give it 3 1/2 RT stars. Interesting cuz innocent people are at mercy of crazed murderer. So lots of tension. And a very satisfying ending. Meanwhile, like most movies, it suffers from some questionable dialog and one doubts if the victims or the murderer would reasonably be like that. Probably counterproductive to talk back to the creep with the gun. And the creep would probably tell a victim he would not kill him if he helped, rather than as soon as he helps he's gonna be dead. And I think it takes place somewhere outback near rural Victorville. And the car radio is still picking up the Dodger game (1963) with Ron Fairly hitting a home run. But the announcer is not Vin Scully. And one final thing, watch out for rattlesnikes. Saw it on the television set, 2.7.24 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review steve b Didn't realize they made many movies like this back in the early 60s. Give it a look if you have the nerve.... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is so bad, it's good! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member If you can get past the quirky mannerisms of Arch Hall, Jr., this develops into a surprisingly graphic and tense little thriller Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review william k Tough, mean-spirited and quite effective low-budget thriller with good editing and cinematography (Vilmos Zsigmond!); Arch Hall Jr. is remarkable as the terrifying psychopath.
