Dave P A quirky Farrelly Bros. comedy from the same year, There's Something About Mary, has a similar plot: hapless dodo-brains in love with a girl, a series of lies, misunderstandings, gross-out scenes, bizarre characters, etc. Safe Men is NOT Mary, but If you LOVED Mary, you'll probably enjoy Safe Men. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review Jeremy M So many stars in this movie early in their careers. John Hamburg wrote an amazing script and Sam Rockwell, Steve Zahn and Paul Giamatti deliver amazing performances. I first saw this movie nearly 25 years ago and still quote it frequently.
