Audience Member This film blew me away, It has everything a samurai film needs to be successful, I am beyond shocked how few people have seen this. The story was magnificent, it kept you engaged and was just really sad. As much as Lady Kane loved him, he couldn't love her back like that. Thankfully she did get over him and accepted her new life as a merchants wife. While also learning she was royalty. I love the way Kane gave him a Kimono before leaving, as a final goodbye to the man that raised her. Taking his own life at the end was a fitting end to an honorable samurais life. What a beautiful film that explores everything this time period had to offer. 5/5 stars. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/25/24 Full Review Read all reviews
