Bugsy G. Foglemeyer (Ernie Kovacs) has a great idea: steal a ship in New York City and use it to rob a bank in Boston. There's only one problem -- neither him nor anyone else in his gang of robbers know how to sail. To remedy this, they kidnap ex-Naval officer Gilbert Barrows (Robert Wagner) and his girlfriend, Elinor (Dolores Hart), and force him to sail the ship for them. Under Gilbert's unwilling command, the crew of crooks try to work together to keep the barely seaworthy vessel afloat.

Martin B Yuck. I'm thinking of good comedy movies of the same genre in the 60's like the Wackiest Ship in the Army, Opertion Petticoat, No Time for Sargents and Father Goose. This the opposite of those quality movies it misses on every level. An empty shell of a flick that Robert Wagners good looks couldn't save. His love interest's perpetual insistence on being a good girl and Wagner's characters attempts to break her down just tedious. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews
