      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Writer-director Hue Rhodes' debut is a poorly-paced, forgettable comedy that wastes the quirky talents of stars Steve Buscemi and Sarah Silverman.

Audience Member A good experience, well played by Buscemi. Entails a bit of the underbelly of Vegas. A few weird twists. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member While not having anything terribly bad about it, Saint John of Las vegas hasn't got that much which is very good, settling for alright. I like all the actors and characters, there is an alright story idea. Somehow none of it seems to get developed to it's potential and it's frustrating for the viewer. Had it been a little more quirky, a little more raunchy, a little more violent - it would have been more memorable. It had an R rating and did nothing with it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Not just boring, but interestingly boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't hate it but it seemed very pointless Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Some funny moments, but overall not so great. Buscemi returns the favor by powering the film with an engaging oddity. Rated: 3/5 Aug 13, 2010 Full Review Roger Moore Orlando Sentinel Comic casting and comic timing pay off in most scenes, with Dinklage landing the big laughs, Malco doing his wise-guy-talking-down-to-the-doofus patter and Buscemi just bugging out and reacting to the craziness.
