Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member We need more of these films instead of our usual dose of Love/Sex/Cheat-All-You-Can mainstream melodrama. What I like about this film is its simplicity. I'm not saying it lacks depth or sophistication because it also has that. But everything about Sana Dati is a quiet beauty. Everything is natural. The acting is heartfelt, the script is striking, the cinematography is beautiful, and the direction is simply masterful. This is a film about empathy that's so serene, thoughtful and gracefully simple. The only problem is that its emotional core doesn't seem to affect because of its plot that is flourishing with random concepts. Its literate dialogues overpowers its expressive visual form.
