Audience Member Would give zero stars. This makes no sense and every minute is torture. No questions are truly answered, it just distracts you with something completely out of left field that opens up several more questions. Like, the opening scene? it's so painfully long and.. is never explained. Has zero to do with the plot and never comes up again. Just... I'm half way through and I still have no idea what's really going on and no desire to continue. It does succeed in creating a confusing story with 'actors' failing to engage you in the dystopian world that the director tried to create. The story is more complex than most sci-fi thrillers and the characters more memorable. The low-budget is noticeable, which is a shame, the flame thrower being my least favourite effect. The music and sound effects are good enough. Definitely not looking forward to repeat viewing to experience to shortfall in the potentially deep and meaningful tale.
