Audience Member pretty routine western Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Santee is a terribly underrated western. Like some other films I've seen as of late, I discovered this gem on a multi-pack of films. I thought it was mostly going to be a run-of-the-mill western - fun and pretty decent, but nothing above that. Boy, I'm sure glad Santee went above and beyond what I thought it was going to be. It was not only a compelling western, but it also dives into the motivations of the main characters quite well. I also really enjoyed how it was more about being a quiet, story-driven film, rather than the usual action-packed western. If you enjoy finding underrated gems, then Santee is worth checking out. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Just an average Western.Nothing really special Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A dour post-modern western which although it does get across a lot of 'feeling' surrounding the people and the lives, doesn't make for a great watch.
